Project Overview
At the VR Lab, I focused on the academic exploration of VR through studies on social interactions and spatial perceptions. In the children's social interaction pattern project, I employed the CAVE VR system to longitudinally study children's social behaviors, enhancing our understanding of social interaction patterns. The distance perception project allowed me to verify the lab’s practical application of VR in accurately perceiving spatial distances, supporting the overall academic objective to refine VR's realism and utility in simulating complex behaviors.
My Contributions
Executed social cognition studies using VR headsets and CAVE VR systems
Managed VR equipment setup and calibration, ensuring accurate data collection for rigorous scientific analysis
Statistically analyses to investigate interactive behaviors and spatial interactions
Coordinated the recruitment and scheduling of over 300 participants for longitudinal behavioral studies
